Malory Towers!

I have 2 teenagers. A boy and a girl. The boy is almost a man while the girl is almost a lady. Not easy getting through teenagers these days. With generational gaps and technological gaps it can get a little distant. Therefore I am truly grateful for the HBO Series on Malory Towers. Of course it was written by Enid Blyton and it was a staple for many boys and girls.

While watching one of the series, I managed to get my daughter to watch it for a few series. Well, it managed to get her interested for awhile anyway.

So, thank you to everyone that put the series together. I must say, I am most impressed. They managed to get a few key features in the series. Such as the swimming pool, the 4 towers. Of course they didn't have every character and some characters are an amalgamation of different characters in the books. They also added some dramatic moments, but the key storyline is always there.

And they have improved the characters of some of them although they got the right actress to play Darrel Rivers, as impetuous as ever.
